Recruitment  Scholarship Details - Assam OBC Post-Matric ( 2025-26)

According to Buddy4Study, which references official NSP data:

• Eligibility: OBC students domiciled in Assam, studying in Class 11 or higher, with a family annual income up to ₹2,50,000.

• Benefits:

  • Group 1 (degree/postgrad-level professional courses): ₹20,000 per annum (₹10,000 academic allowance + ₹10,000 tuition).

  • Group 2 (other professional courses): ₹13,000 total.

  • Group 3 (grad/postgrad non-professional): ₹8,000 total.

  • Group 4 (post-matric non-degree): ₹5,000 in academic allowance.

• Application Deadline: 30-Sep-2025

Note:-  Students studying through correspondence/online courses shall not be eligible for the academic allowance. However, tuition fees will be paid to them.

Recruitment How to Apply

1. Visit the NSP portal at scholarships.gov.in.

2. Register for your One-Time Registration (OTR) using your Aadhaar or Enrolment ID to receive a unique OTR number scholarships.gov.in.

3. Login with your OTR and password to access the application for the Post-Matric OBC Assam scholarship.

4. Choose the Assam state-specific scheme under Post-Matric category and complete the form.

5. Upload all required documents (caste certificate, income proof, bonafide certificate, bank details, etc.).

6. Submit the application before 30-September-2025.

7. Monitor your application status and scholarship disbursement via NSP.

• Academic transcripts including certificates, diplomas, degrees, etc.
• A valid caste certificate duly signed by an authorised officer
• An income certificate, parent(s)/guardian(s) issued by the authority as decided by the state government
