The State Council for Technical Education (SCTE), Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Assam has released the official notification of Polytechnic Admission 2026 for admission into 3-year Diploma in Engineering and Technology Courses in State Government Polytechnics of Assam for the session 2026-27. The admission process in the State Government Polytechnics are carried out on the basis of marks obtained by students in H.S.L.C. examination or equivalent Examination with Mathematics and Science as compulsory subjects.
No. of seats in State Government Polytechnics are 4385 seats for 26 Nos. of different Diploma programmes. Interested and eligible candidates may register online till 10th May 2026.
